Guy Johnston was BBC Young Musician of the Year 2000 and has since enjoyed a varied career as soloist and chamber musician. Projects this season include concerts with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic and the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. Future engagements include concerts with the Philharmonia and the Deutsches Symphony Orchestra in Berlin, as well as a tour of Japan. Guy has also collaborated with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Proms, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, and has worked with conductors including Vassily Sinaisky, Yan Pascal Tortelier and Leonard Slatkin. Guy has appeared at festivals at home and abroad including Moritzburg, Delft and Bath, and has performed at the Wigmore Hall, the Louvre in Paris and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
