
Dutch violinist Nadia Wijzenbeek was born in the Netherlands into a musical family. She now enjoys a varied career as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster. Nadia has performed concertos with leading international orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Symphony Orchestra of the Netherlands, National State Symphony Orchestra of the Ukraine, Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic, in venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Nadia gives recitals throughout Europe in halls like the Palais de Beaux Arts Brussels, Rudolphinum Prague, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Moscow and St Petersburg.
As an avid chamber musician, Nadia not only plays in the Aronowitz Ensemble, but is also a member of the critically acclaimed Lendvai String Trio, which performs regularly at major concert halls in Europe. Founded in 2004, the Lendvai String Trio has won awards from the Kirckman Concert Society, the Park Lane Group and the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
Nadia has recently been appointed Concertmaster of The Radio Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra in the Netherlands.
Nadia plays a Joseph filius Andrea Guarneri violin.
